The Bachelor in Brand Management and Branding (GM) at ESETH is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 6. Its aim is to train hybrid profiles capable of learning how to build, manage and protect the identity of a company or product in a competitive environment.

This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of managers responsible for brand management, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.

The ESETH Bachelor in GM enables you to become highly operational from your first professional experience or to continue your studies in a Bac+4/5 cycle. Courses, conferences, masterclasses and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.

Further Studies

This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.

Programme objectives

The Bachelor in Brand Management and Branding (GM) at ESETH is a state-recognised qualification at Level 6 that aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Define the brand’s mission, vision, values and promise

  • Learn to differentiate a brand from its competitors to secure a unique position in the consumer’s mind

  • Create a coherent and emotional brand narrative

  • Oversee the creation of visual identity guidelines, packaging and communication materials

  • Align pricing, product and distribution with the desired brand image

  • Ensure that every touchpoint (store, website, customer service) reflects the brand image

  • Learn to manage the brand’s voice across different platforms

  • Know how to protect the brand’s reputation in the event of a “bad buzz”

  • Identify and collaborate with relevant brand ambassadors

  • Analyse brand awareness (spontaneous and aided)

  • Interpret consumer trends and purchasing behaviours

  • Monitor market movements to adapt strategy in real time

Prerequisites

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Baccalaureate and Bac+2

Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Brand Management and Branding at ESETH is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.

Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Teaching Methods and Assessment

Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme

Funding

  • The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
  • The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
  • Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
  • Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
  • You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.

AXIS 2: CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Validation of Competency Blocks:

  • Block 1: Coordinate and Improve the Commercial Activity of the Retail Establishment

  • Block 2: Contribute to the Strategic Directions of the Brand and Optimise the Economic Performance of the Retail Establishment

  • Block 3: Manage the Employees of the Retail Establishment
