Presentation

The Bachelor in Purchasing and Logistics (AL) at ESETH is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 6. Its objective is to train professionals capable of mastering the entire supply chain, particularly obtaining the best conditions from suppliers (Purchasing) and ensuring that products arrive at the right place, at the right time and at the lowest possible cost (Logistics).

This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of managers responsible for managing the supply chain of organisations, who are looking for creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.

The ESETH Bachelor in AL enables students to become highly operational from their first professional experience or to continue their studies in a Bac+4/5 cycle. Courses, conferences, masterclasses and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.

Students will also benefit from connections with our network of premium partner companies to undertake their work-study placement (alternance).

Further Studies

This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.

Programme objectives

The Bachelor in Purchasing and Logistics (AL) at ESETH is a state-recognised qualification at Level 6 that aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Learn how to identify, evaluate and audit potential suppliers, both in France and internationally

  • Know how to negotiate not only prices, but also payment terms, delivery conditions and quality requirements

  • Anticipate supply shortages or partner failures

  • Master the physical organisation of flows, from reception to shipment

  • Coordinate production needs with transport and storage capacities

  • Master integrated management software (such as SAP or Oracle) to track orders and inventory in real time

  • Learn to monitor indicators such as service level, logistics cost per unit, or inventory turnover

  • Learn how to maintain an optimal stock level to avoid shortages while limiting storage costs

  • Efficiently manage product returns and packaging recycling

  • Reduce the carbon footprint by choosing more ecological transport modes or by optimising truck loading.

Prerequisites

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Baccalaureate and Bac+2

Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Purchasing and Logistics at ESETH is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.

Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Funding

  • The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
  • The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
  • Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
  • Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
  • You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.
