The Bachelor in Tourism and Leisure Management (GTL) at ESETH is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 6. Over three years, it trains management professionals capable of designing, developing, marketing and managing products and services across the entire tourism and leisure sector.
This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of professionals in tourism or leisure establishments, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.
The ESETH Bachelor in GTL enables you to become highly operational from your first professional experience or to continue your studies in a Bac+4/5 cycle. Courses, conferences, masterclasses and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.
You will also benefit from connections with our network of premium partner companies to undertake your work-study placement.
Further Studies
This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.

Programme objectives
The Bachelor in Tourism and Leisure Management (GTL) at ESETH is a state-recognised qualification at Level 6 that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Acquire project management methodology, including feasibility studies, budgeting, sourcing of funding, and operational planning for a site or leisure event
Define the positioning, targeting and marketing mix of a tourism offering, taking into account its intangible and perishable nature
Be able to identify market trends to adapt the offering to evolving consumer expectations
Understand the roles and interconnections between different stakeholders
Understand the challenges of territorial planning and local development related to tourism
Be able to combine various elements (accommodation, transport, activities) to create innovative tourism products
Master the specifics of organising events (seminars, festivals, sporting events) and managing leisure sites
Develop human resources skills to manage teams, often seasonal and multicultural, and apply management practices adapted to service professions
Prerequisites
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Tourism and Leisure Management at ESETH is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Duration
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
- Work-study programme available from the third year onwards
Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
- Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company
Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme
Funding
- The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
- The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
- Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
- Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
- You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.
