The Master’s in Management and Digitalisation of QHSE Processes (MD-QHSE) at ESETH is a state-recognised diploma, Level 7, which trains professionals over two years to be highly aware of issues related to Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment. The programme equips them to implement, oversee, and improve management systems in these key areas within an organisation.

This course is perfectly suited to the needs of QHSE managers who are looking for creative, passionate, curious, and motivated team members.

The MD-QHSE Master’s at ESETH allows students to become highly operational from their very first professional experience or to continue their studies at a Bac+4/5 level. Programme objectives

The Master’s in Management and Digitalisation of QHSE Processes (MD-QHSE) at ESETH is a state-recognised Level 7 diploma that aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of current standards and certifications (ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environment, ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, etc.).
  • Master key quality management tools (5M, Pareto and Gantt charts, brainstorming, etc.).
  • Understand and apply the principles of quality management.
  • Identify non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Define and implement relevant control indicators.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve integrated QHSE management systems tailored to the specific needs of the organisation.
  • Use and deploy digital tools (QHSE software, CMMS, EDM) to streamline document management, non-conformities, audits, and action plans.
  • Understand the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, augmented reality) on QHSE topics and leverage data-driven approaches in QHSE missions.

Prerequisites

ENTRY REQUIREMENT LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The Master’s in Management and Digitalisation of QHSE Processes (MD-QHSE) at ESETH is open to holders of a Licence/Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification, and for entry into the 2nd year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master’s Year 1 or obtained an exemption from the certifying body.

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Funding

  • The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
  • The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
  • Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
  • Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
  • You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.

The MD-QHSE programme in the specialisation year is organised around two (2) axes:

AXIS 1: SPECIALISATION SUBJECTS

AXIS 2: CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Validation of skills blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
  • Block 2: Design a digital project using UX Design methodology adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Execute a digital project using agile methodology, preparing functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and draft reports in competitive intelligence and business strategy
