The ESETH Master’s in Business Engineering (BE) is a Level 7 qualification listed on the RNCP, designed to train professionals over two years to manage the full sales cycle of complex solutions (high-value B2B products or services, often technological or industrial).

This programme is ideally suited to the needs of Managers committed to commercial performance, seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

Programme objectives

The ESETH Master’s in Business Engineering (BE) is a state-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:

  • Design customised technical-commercial proposals, taking into account technical constraints, budgets, and client objectives
  • Define and implement a market penetration or portfolio development strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, in a B2B environment involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop advanced negotiation skills to defend the value of the offer with executive management and strategic buyers
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure the feasibility and delivery of the sold project
  • Serve as a key interface between the client and R&D/Production teams, ensuring that the proposed solution is technically viable
  • Utilise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for commercial purposes and reporting
  • Conduct thorough competitive and technological monitoring to identify new growth and innovation opportunities

Prerequisites

ENTRY REQUIREMENT LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The ESETH Master’s in Business Engineering (BE)  is open to holders of a Licence/Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification, and for entry into the 2nd year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master’s Year 1 or obtained an exemption from the certifying body.

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Funding

  • The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
  • The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
  • Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
  • Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
  • You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.

Validation of competency blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
  • Block 2: Design a digital project using a UX Design approach adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, developing its functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and draft reports in competitive intelligence and corporate strategy
