The ESETH Master’s in Tourism Management and International Development (TDI) is a Level 7 qualification listed on the RNCP, designed to train senior executives and leaders over two years, capable of assuming overall responsibility (strategic, financial, and operational) for a wide range of accommodation structures, from independent boutique hotels to international chains.

This programme is ideally suited to Managers responsible for promoting tourism establishments internationally, seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

Programme objectives

The ESETH Master’s in Tourism Management and International Development (TDI) is a state-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:

  • Design long-term development strategies for hotel chains, multinational tour operators, among others
  • Master the challenges of digital transformation to optimise customer experience, Revenue Management, and operational efficiency
  • Integrate the challenges of sustainable tourism, ecotourism, and geopolitical risks into international strategic decision-making
  • Master the structuring of complex investment projects and the sourcing of funding from international organisations or private investment funds
  • Manage multicultural teams and negotiate with international partners and suppliers, taking into account cultural specificities
  • Develop skills in risk management and crisis communication directly affecting the tourism sector
  • Work closely with public authorities on spatial planning, infrastructure development, and destination positioning in a global competitive environment
  • Use organisational audit tools and advanced management control techniques to assess performance and propose improvement plans

Prerequisites

ENTRY REQUIREMENT LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The ESETH Master’s in Tourism Management and International Development (TDI)  is open to holders of a Licence/Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification, and for entry into the 2nd year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master’s Year 1 or obtained an exemption from the certifying body.

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Funding

  • The work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
  • The Individual Training Leave (CIF).
  • Individual Training Support (AIF), if you are a job seeker.
  • Personal funding through a student job or a bank loan.
  • You have the option to pay your tuition fees in several instalments.

AXIS 2: CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Validation of skills blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
  • Block 2: Design a digital project using UX Design methodology adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Execute a digital project using agile methodology, preparing functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and draft reports in competitive intelligence and business strategy
